Young people & Families

The European Opera Centre has an active education programme based on the award-winning film of Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen

Delivered by artists planning to pursue professional careers in the arts, the programme is a distinctive learning experience both for the children and families taking part and the animateurs guiding the projects

More than 500 young people have been involved in creative projects in Greater Liverpool schools with the Centre to date.

The most recent venture has been a collaboration with the Showman’s Mental Health Awareness Charity taking the European Opera Centre to Hoppings Fair in Newcastle. This latest project, supported by Arts Council England, has engaged Showmen families based at the fair and Showmen animateurs working in Greater Liverpool schoos.

The Safeguarding Policy is reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees annually. The latest Policy, was approved 28 January 2022.
